August 2016 Board Minutes

BOARD: Janie Byus, Tina Eissler, Naomi Patterson, Laura Mitchell

MGMT:  Susan Keene, Larry Edwards

     The Sandpiper Bay Board of Directors met on August 17, 2016, at 6:00 at MCL.  The Board read and reviewed the July 2016 minutes.

WEBSITE:

• The website needs to be updated to include minutes of the monthly Board meetings.  If a homeowner does not have the internet, copies can be placed in the plastic box located on the “No Trespassing” sign.
• The Board appointed Tina Eissler as the website administrator.

NEW BUSINESS:

• The outside spigots have finally been activated.  Citizens Energy did not turn on meters this spring, and many of the accounts cannot be found.
• Letters to homeowners in violation of Condominium rules or standards will be emailed to Board members.  They can also be sent to the attorney for consideration.
• Management will solicit bids for snow removal for the 2016-2017 season.

July 2016 Board Minutes

     The Sandpiper Bay Board of Directors met on July 20, 2016, at 6:00 at MCL.  The Board read and reviewed the June 2016 minutes.

MAINTENANCE PROJECTS:

• Management personnel have fixed a few issues at the pool…repaired gate closure, removed rocks used to keep gate open, fixed the men’s restroom lock.
• Power washed drive to remove oil at 9510 Sandpiper East.  The garage door is also oil soaked so Larry will try to make personal contact with the homeowner

NEW BUSINESS:

• The weeds at the unit next door to Gloria O’Connor have been removed.  The homeowner received a letter from the Board and took care of the problem
• Letters have also been sent to two homeowners who installed windows with the wrong color.
• Enough homeowners have now voted to change the amendments to address rental concerns.  The process is now in the hands of the attorney.
• The Sandpiper Bay website has been activated.  Board members can call Cody for instructions on putting materials on the site.  Cody has added the documents and will be adding the Board minutes each month.
