Board Updates

This is your community; your ongoing concern & care helps make Sandpiper Bay a pleasant place to live.

The board sincerely hopes that all residents of Sandpiper Bay are safe and well during this unprecedented time.  Remember to check on your neighbor….from 6 feet away.
Going forward, the Sandpaper will no longer be delivered individually, so please watch for it on the website.  http://sandpiperbay.psgcondos.com/.
Please email info@psgcondos.com with your current contact information and your preferred method of contact.  Email, text, mail or phone.  It is vital that the Board and Property Management is able to reach you.
YEAH!!  The fountain is back!!  Spring is here!!
Remember that any goose nests you may see are protected and cannot be disturbed.
Residents have commented since they have been home, that they have seen metro police patrolling our community.  Great to see that we are being kept safe!
COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DAY – APRIL 25TH
We encourage every resident on April 25th to clean up their own area.  Pull weeds, pick up sticks, rake, sweep your front sidewalk, driveway AND the street in front of your house and debug your outside lights.  A few hours of everyone pitching in will make a huge difference!
If you would like to volunteer, we also want to clean up the mailboxes and utility boxes, pick up trash on 96th street and assist residents that are unable to clean up their areas.  Please email one of the board members if you are interested.  Contact information can be found on our website.
The board is going to rent an edger and edge the sidewalks for the entire community on that day as well!!

Board Updates

The Board will be conducting a ‘Rent vs Own’ audit. Please look for a letter to be mailed and respond accordingly.  If you rent, please provide a copy of your rental agreement.  This information will allow us accurate contact information.
The idea of planting Cat Tails in the pond has been brought up.  The Board has done research and the specifics will be discussed at the March meeting.
The discussion continues about trees.  We have confirmed that the trees on the south side of the privacy fence are owned by Sandpiper Bay.  An analysis will be done in the spring as to what needs to be removed and what can stay.  The concern is that the dead trees and limbs could harm a parked car, or worse, harm a resident or guest.  The Board will create a plan to remove the dead trees depending on the amount that needs to be removed and the cost to do so.  This may be done in stages depending on what is determined.

A resident’s Security Camera recently caught a young lady walking on the lake ice in slippers. This is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS as the lake never freezes entirely and can have pockets of thin ice.

The residents on Sandpiper South have received a ‘Notice of Survey’ from the City of Indianapolis.  This document basically says that at some point there may be work done on 465 that may impact Sandpiper South property.  The communication is very general with no specifics.  You will be kept updated if we here anymore about this project.
